Production is always variation on a theme, and even with the capability to chase &#8220;what if&#8221; endlessly, that road can lead nowhere. <em>Future Child<\/em> started as cool jazz. Reworked as a retro cha cha, it became the song it was meant to be \u2014 though not its last word; the song still has a life beyond even this incarnation. This isn&#8217;t a shortcut. It&#8217;s improvisation at a scale never before possible, and that&#8217;s what ignites me. A technology that finally delivers.<\/p>\n<p>The imagery follows the same logic. Each image is A.I.-generated, but the prompt comes from the lyric, not the other way round.
